The challenge
Testing hydrogen energy systems requires coordinated gas distribution, safety, cooling and control across equipment with different operating requirements.
Contribution
The project included P&ID development and integration of an electrolyzer, two turbines and a gas engine, together with measurement and safety systems.
Approach
The engineering scope covered gas detection and shutdown, ventilation, container heating, dry-cooler-based cooling and PLC automation. Measurements supported evaluation of the energy conversion chain from electrolysis to combustion.
Results
The work brought hydrogen production and utilization into an integrated testing environment, with monitoring and control supporting operational assessment and efficiency analysis.
