The challenge
Heat recovery units require controlled internal and external leakage measurements to evaluate airtightness under PN EN 13141-7.
Contribution
The project covered the design of a leakage test stand, specification of components and procurement for integration into the production environment.
Approach
Calibrated orifices, fans, differential-pressure sensors, ductwork, dampers and actuators formed the measurement system. An HMI and automation provided control and monitoring.
Results
The resulting stand combined airflow regulation and pressure measurement in a dedicated setup for testing recuperator airtightness.
